The French Infantry took part in many of the largest and bloodiest battles of World War one defending their homeland. This set comprises soldiers about 23 mm high is 20 different poses including a man using his entrenching tool, a man carrying a sack of supplies, a cuclist, the bugler, the observer with telescope, the standard bearer, infantrymen and the signaller with pigeon. The infantry wore Adrian helmets, making them suitable for all but thefirst few months of the Great War. They all wear the greatcoat except the officer who wears a "tunique" and kepi. The set also includes a wounded man and a dead casualty. Colours to use are grey, bright blue and tan.
