Thse two German battlecruisers from WWII were fast and heavily armoured ships. Famous for their "Channel Dash" back to Germany with the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. Scharnhorst was sunk at the Battle of North Cape and Gneisenau in harbour by bombing.
