02522 German Army Crisis Reaction Forces

The German Army crisis reaction forces (KRK) include soldiers from all troop categories. They represent the German army contribution to operations carried out under NATO, EU and UN auspices. Rapid reaction forces are currently in operation with SFOR in Bosnia and with KFOR in Kosovo. The soldiers are equipped with the latest weapons and equipment such as the G-36 assault rifle and they wear special flak jackets to protect them against sniper-fire.
