The Hornby Western
Pullman train set with four coaches(back

on the South Wales Pullman service that ran from
Paddington to Swansea from 1955 to 1961, this
train set not only includes the excellently detailed
Castle Class 'Cadbury Castle' but four Pullman

The Hornby North Eastern

 This
North Eastern Steam train set is unique when compared
to the other Hornby train sets on this page. With
this set, everything is included to give you total
independent control of two trains on two separate
circuits using hand held radio control transmitters.
The set is supplied
with a full colour scenic-effect TrakMat that
shows off the layout from the bird's eye perspective.
The twin track circuits and the two sidings are
simply laid out on the mat, the receiver buildings
are connected to the track and with the trains
in place it's all systems go for the start of
a great model train adventure.

expected to haul a wide variety of loads on their
journey from town to town. The small wheels of
0-4-0 locomotives gave surprisingly excellent
pulling power and made them ideally suited to

The GWR Mixed Traffic

spirit of an earlier age comes alive in the Great
Western Railway set, with a locomotive of the

The Golden
Arrow Coach Pack(back

 In
1946, the 'Golden Arrow' Pullman service was recommenced
after it had been cancelled due to the Second
World War. Leaving from London Victoria, the train
travelled to Folkestone and from there the passengers
were ferried over to France where they continued
the journey to Paris by the French Pullman service.
This Hornby Great British
Train pack contains elements of the 'Golden Arrow'
as it would have been seen speeding through the
Kent countryside in thesummer of 1949. The locomotive
had yet to be named while the coach stock was
quite simply first class, as befitting the first
class service demanded by the would-be continental
traveller.
Contents include Pullman
1st Class Kitchen Car 'Adrian' (matchboard sided),

 The
famous London to Scotland train is presented here
in a top-of-the-range Hornby train set with LNER
4-6-2 locomotive and classic teak coaches, depicting
the Flying Scotsman as it ran non-stop from London
to Edinburgh in the summer seasons of the 1930s.
The prototype locomotive had a corridor link through
the tender to the coaches to allow crews to switch
