Exciting races, lots of spectators on site and on TV - the WRC (World Rally Championship) has established itself as a top event. In the 2004 season Peugeot will race the new 307 World Rally Car. For over a year Peugeot have been working on this car, which has a lower centre of gravity and a different weight distribution from its predecessor, which have given it different road-holding characteristics. Competing for Peugeot is the Finn Marcus Gr nholm, who has been driving for Peugeot since the year 2000, and who took the drivers' world title in that same year and in 2002 likewise. He and his co-driver Timo Rautiainen, another Finn, have been driving as a team with all-round talent for a good 9 years. In the 2nd race of the 2004 season, they both battled to achieve 2nd place in the overall standings, which is an indicator of future successes. | Model details | | Scale | 1:32 | | No. of parts | 35 | | Length | 126 mm | | Skill Level | 2 | | | | Original details | | Type description | Racing Car | | Year/Period | 2004 | | Engine capacity | 220 kW | | Engine | 4-cylinder-engine | | Displacement | 2 litre | |
