Don’t despair – We can repair!
Here at Stockton Modeller we carry out mechanical and electrical repairs to OO and N gauge locos, . We can also supply and fit DCC decoders of various makes when available. We do not do bodywork, weathering or re-numbering.
We are Hornby authorised service dealers, but we can do repairs to most other makes.
It’s impossible to give you an estimate of costs until we see what the problem is and what parts may be needed. We charge on a time basis plus parts supplied, plus return postage using a tracked service. Whilst we manage to repair over 90% of locos brought to us there is the odd one which may not be possible. It may be that parts are not available or that the cost of the repair is not economic. If that is the case we will advise you accordingly.
Prices start from £25 for a basic clean and lubrication service on a working loco plus return postage. Problems cost extra!
